This course will expose the participants to the fundamentals of energy as an economic commodity. Sources of energy and national energy policy formulation. Pricing, demand and supply of energy. It covers the various basic principles of energy fundamentals, sourcing, management, allocation, budgeting, policy, politics and energy mix and national policy agenda and sustainability of economic power and energy. Those who attend this course, will be able to understand and apply right principles and develop energy systems for national policy development. Advise energy practitioners on energy policy and strategy development, consult and administer energy solutions for factories, facilities, communities and homes.

Objectives

The participants would have learnt the principles and application of energy economics and its application to various concerns. These span from business, manufacturing to National power generation. Designing, monitoring and managing energy systems which are workable, cost effective and profitable.
